Despair
Shreds of cocooned grief have entangled my tongue like a spider's web,
My joy is broken like a jar of oil that has fallen against a rock,
Pieces of shattered laughter fall from my mouth
Droplets of unhappiness have been sprinkled upon me,
You have anointed my head with the oil of grief,as it drops down unto my dry lips
Whenever I opened my eyes,my daylight gets swallowed by midnight
My tranquility has turned sour like a lemon,
The men of the night have robbed me of my finest garment that oozed out fragnaces of hope and faith,
My liberty has been caged, despair sings me morning hymns as the mouth of faith has been stitched with threads if doubt
Now,i am plagued with the disease of giving up on already given up,
So let me write you my fears in golden inks masked by charcoal beneath,
All i want you to do is collect my tears and frame it as a monument because when nightfall comes,I'll fade with sunlight.
